Vision

The Pinal County School Office Education Service Agency is committed to working cooperatively with agencies throughout the state in identifying and serving the educational needs of Pinal County. PCSOESA strives to accomplish this through leadership and partnering to offer a wide range of educator and student centered services in the following areas: fiscal services, school elections, professional development, information technology and data processing, and accommodation schools and programs.

ASU’s MEd in Educational Leadership delivers best-in-class preparation for current
educators ready to take their leadership to the next level through the iLeadAZ
principal preparation model. The new path to the MEd offers the same highly-rated
program offered on campus and online, now in a hybrid format tailored to educators
in Pinal County.

iLeadAZ Principal Preparation Pathway for Pinal County
A 14-month, standards-based leadership development program
• Learning begins with a three-week, in-person summer intensive at a central location in Pinal County.
• During the summer intensive you and your cohort will be immersed in a simulated school experience while you engage in your required coursework in a hybrid format.
• Learning continues during the school year with in-person and web-based experiences. These include Thursday evening online course meetings; one Saturday in-person cohort seminar per month; and two Thursday school visits per semester to Pinal County schools for instructional rounds with your cohort.
• Apply your new learning and research in a K–12 setting with a two-semester, school-based internship while still working in your current job.
• Conclude the program the following summer with two online courses and a twoday seminar with your cohort that assesses your learning and helps you plan your next steps for post-degree school leadership.

requirements for principal certification.
